Devils quickly decline. Wood is playing very good and they are adding picks on top of that

JVR is doing exactly what he is paid to do which is score goals on the power play. I would be fine if they moved him in the offseason or move him at some point this year if his play is worse but he's not one of the problems on the team. I'm most worried about the defense and if that comes together having a player like JVR on the third line becomes a huge advantage

The righty for lefty swap makes sense for Buffalo, but I'm not too interested in taking Ghost's contract unless he proves himself worth it. How has he played this year?
