Intention: Right defense depth that can easily be taxi-squad or AHLed.

Actuality: Getting top 4 minutes over Boqvist and Mitchell

Good signing. I'm a bit curious if this means COVID is a bit more prevalent than previously discussed/known. Beaudin was pretty good yesterday IMO. Not sure why we wouldn't play him...unless there's something more. I guess that could mean a trade too. This 100% rumor mill nonsense, but If I put my conspiracy theory hat on...that hypothetical Letang Trade fell through and GMJR resigned....maybe Stan's planning something along those lines???

Low risk move here. Provides more young depth. I like it.

Signed for expansion draft reasons. He doesn't give you anything else except depth for the taxi squad.

Very nice depth signing for them. He'll do just fine serving as a spare.

As far as depth defensemen go, Bowey isn't half bad. Expansion draft or not, you're in good shape if he's your 7th dman.

I like this deal for Chicago. I think this is more than just a stop gap. I really think Chicago could get more out of him than Washington did sort of like Strome.

Dirt cheap for 2 years, even if its just a depth/injury replacement signing- its great value.
I think he still has potential to be a NHL regular, still young, surprised he wasnt signed earlier.
