For me, most surprising considering expectations is Evans. He worked on his skating/strength this offseason and it shows. Did not expect him to be this fast.
Lehky and Byron are the same reliable players they've always been. Armia wasn't great till his last two games. If I'm disappointed in anyone it's Danault (probably because of yesterday's turnover that led to the Lucic goal) -- and it's not like I'm particularly worried about his play. Otherwise, I agree with the ranking.
It's hard to criticize this team so far, I can't remember a lineup where everyone was clicking!

What's your point lol? You know there are other metrics to take in consideration. And they're only 1 pts behind Tofoli for your information

Petry has not been great 5 on 5. I also think Chiarot and Kulak have played better then Edmunson

I don't understand why so many dump on Edmundson and still place Kulak above him. Edmundson leads or is tied in blocked shots, hits, plus/minus. He has stabilized Petry, look at Petry's plus/minus this year. He defends his teammates, again yesterday when Evans was being roughed up, he skated in from the blueline and pulled two players off. So I am not sure what more you want from a big strong defensive d-man. Heck I would take him on my team any day.

Lol, what? Have you watched the habs? Or did you just watch the one game vs. the Leafs and base everything on that?

Evans is an upgrade on what we use to have on the 4th line, aka Weise, Weal or Thompson, but that doesn't make him our third best forward.

never called him bad or anything. Not dumping on him. Would take Kulak and/or Chiarot over him.

Which stats exactly are you using? Chiarot’s been fine, but he’s been taking too many penalties. And Kulak has also been fine, but not better than Edmundson.

Chiarot taking to many penalties is not resulting in bad play. I am using goals for and goals against (both expected and per 60) (for individual and his pair). Everything is pointing to Chiarot.
Also asked some hab fans like @Zuki9797 , and some others and they agree so I think my opinion is valid

best pk scorer so far. And yes I will gladly overrate him here just to toss some people here. The guy is the deal the lead the habs to run 4 lines ... so sorry somehow he is the seal in that corp where Byron is the shadow Gallagher the heart Price the soul and Weber the strength
