    What’s the point of trading Byron if you aren’t even going to use the cap space you clear? Also I think KK probably gets more.

    For sure. I’d expect a 2 year deal around $4-$4.5 million.

    Based on Strome and Hintz, that's a bit high.

    I would bet around 3.5M.

    This year production and term will make it fluctuate a lot.

    He wrote that the Byron trade would be "off season". If it means in the summer of 2022 it makes sense.

    Personally I would take a big gamble on a long term contract with KK. Something 6 or 7 aav. I see him turning into something very special and if he signs a bridge then the price in two years would be massive.

    With regards to Danault I really think he won't be back next year. Down the middle in order of Suzuki, KK, Evans, Poehling is still legit. I think Evan's between Tatar (assuming he signs around 4.5 aav) and Gallagher can have a similar impact as Danault.
