That is not nearly enough for just Gibson let alone him and Rakell

What do you think should be added? Blomqvist is a very good goalie prospect FYI.

McCann + Poulin for Rackell
2nd, Jarry + Blomqvist for Gibson

Ducks have one of the top goalie prospects in the league in Dotsal so that doesn't really move the needle, at all.

Honestly without Guentzel ++ there is nothing PIT could really offer, the Penguins prospect pool is pretty weak and doesn't have anyone that projects to an impact player. Poulin is the best you have and he projects as a 3rd liner.

If thats how you break it down you dont even get Gibson's skates for that

Gibson is pretty much top5 goalie. Jarry been terrible, takes way more than that.

You both over estimate the value of a goalie.
They just don't trade for that much. Matter of fact I think the poster here over estimates it too.
Goalies don't hold values on trades. That's just historical fact.

None of this actually solves any problems for the penguins anyway. Swapping McCann for Rakell doesn't fix the problem of not having an actual 3C anywhere on the team.
This team doesn't have nearly the problems people want to say it has. If the defense is healthy we aren't really talking about anything but a need for a real 3C. Because that's really where the team is at.

If anything the only major change that should be happening is the coach.
