I don't think we should be in the business of selling off 1st round picks to fill a roll that Dermott currently fills. I don't care how good he is. This is an unnecessary trade.

this doesn't contribute to stocking defenders. Still the same number of NHL D. We have Sandin and Lehtonen if someone is hurt. Plus Lilly and Marincin if absolutely desperate

Dunn is overrated and for a 3rd pair D is not worth a first round pick. Plays heavily sheltered minutes. Got a cheap contract for a reason. Not worth a D that literally replaces him on the depth chart + a first.
