Id rather hold onto labanc then just for one second (because the NYI arent making the SCF). Ho-Sang is about as much as a gamble as playing a 4th round pick. Yeah sure it can work out but will it? Bad trade for us. This is not a teardown this is basically a poor trade and a bunch of whatever moves.

Teardown/ rebuild begins this TDL/ Seattle. It will involve much more then this unless we also fail at rebuilding somehow. For now were competing but a rebuild will involve Burns/ Kane/ Couture/ and maybe Hertl or Meier or Labanc.

If NYI reaches the cup finals is a hilarious stipulation considering we’d be lucky to make the playoffs

I really don't think Labanc has that much value. He's very one dementional and extremely lazy on the defensive side of the puck. I mean, Goodrow was able to fetch a 1st at the TDL, so it's not out of the possibility that Labanc could get a 1st +. He is just extremely frustrating to watch IMO.

I would like the team to be centered around Hertl and Meier, and see which contract we may be able to offload onto Seattle. I honestly think Seattle takes Gambrell if he goes unprotected.

Which is surprising to me. Every year I keep wondering when it's going to be the Islanders year in the East. They seem like a team that has had so much potential, but hasn't been able to get over that final hurdle.... Hey.... Kind of like the Sharks in previous years.

You could get considerably more for Labanc imo. Everything else is fine though.

NJD will pass on 1-year of Sorenson...just probably not the best fit

If team has cap space for Lebanc, I imagine they'd pay more than Ho-Sang and picks.

Very little for Labanc. He should get a first easy if Kapanen can

Gambrel will be protected, sharks are leaving all their bigger contracts open almost egging Seattle to pick one,Labanc is not one dimensional and is better defensively than you giving him credit for, saying that I hate his contract! Another dumb move by Wilson.
