Hard to believe some people think Seattle wouldn't take him in the expansion draft...

He is according to this site. And I don't think Seattle touches Holtby.

Goalies like Berdin , Win, and Daccord, Ott, still waivers exempt after the draft. Gives them 4 cheap goalies.

I'm guessing Seattle charges a super premium for high cap hit players. Look to ufa for top 6 players. A lot of 3/4 dmen and bottom 6 forwards will be available in the draft...

As long as Seattle uses him as a backup. He fails as a starter every time. Holtby/Allen tandem is pretty good.

It's 100% mental. The ability is there. But he does fail in the clutch.

2017 he was great against Minnesota but was not good against Nashville. It's one of those situations where he just fails to stop the pucks that he should be saving. He let's in the weak goals and untimely ones.
2020 playoffs was a complicated one. Binnington was one of the players who had covid and I think that screwed him up.
