I do think Jake/Woo/2nd for them to take Myers is possible. If I have to change something then maybe. But I don't think it's possible they take Loui.

The nucks should really consider firing Jim Benning after this season. Almost all of this free agent signings have been complete sh*t.

I don't think Virtanen Woo and a 2nd is that much for Myers. Because of term, Myers is our worst contract and he has a M-NMC. The league knows is and we are in a bind. Vegas didn't have teams under a cap bind like we are now. This is just not the same world we were in in 2017 for cap hits. Getting rid of Myers and keeping Holtby or whoever we would have lost is basically 2 wins. Virtanen is of no value anymore so it's our 5th best defensive prospect and a 2nd to solve two problems we need to solve.

They're gonna take prospects and low end cap hits from a lot of teams. I think the "dumps" they take would be like this. They're only take two or three but they won't be taking big contract good players very often so their cap floor has to come from people like this.

Vegas never really took a major cap dump like Myers nor do they initially operate in a pandemic. Even more teams now have less cap creating more leverage for Seattle.

Demko and Hoglander in the 2nd round make up for that. Boeser in the 20's also. He's been the most successful drafter of the last decade and it's not very close.
