Highly doubt Palms waives to Canada, since all 7 teams are on his NTC. Also there probably wouldn't be that many conditions

this would definetly be a rental at the deadline. Palm might waive if it meant playing half a season/playoffs with a contender then he can go wherever he wants.

Dont mind this trade as a rental if flames are gonna make a run.

Change the 3rd to a 1st, no conditions (keep Phillips) and NJ will approach KP about waiving.

It was reported at last deadline that Palmieiri had all Canadian teams on his no-trade list. But it was later said that Calgary may have been one place he would have gone to. I guess he has good relationship with the coach, who had run the PP in NJ.

If I am remembering correctly, the previous deadline deal had Jankowski, a d-prospect and a 1st. May have just been speculation. And that was for 1.5 years of Palms.

NJD would likely ask for Zary, MEP, Pelletier, etc type of prospect.
