Replace Fleury with Suzuki. That's the type of trade you're looking at for Crosby.

They aren't gonna trade their "best" prospect at C so this is a more realistic look at it. Pens address needs at all positions plus picks. About they best you could do in the current environment.

As a Caps fan I would love this but you would be insane to make that deal without Suzuki or KK.

So would they to include Suzuki. KK ehh but PIT is still in win now mode so the Danault scenario is better suited.

I would like to have Crosby as 1C and Suzuki 2C KK 3C, I would be welling to give a lot like you did, because that makes us contenders for 3-4 years

Ok so what happened was Dreger said IF Pittsburgh went into rebuild mode and asked Crosby to waive he would only waive for Montreal. That has set the Capfriendly world and Twitter world on fire. Dreger also went on to say that he does not believe the Pens will go into a rebuild or ask Sid to waive. He said most likely Sid retires a Pen but fans only hear what they want LOL.

As for the deal above it doesn't work at all. We do not have room to add Sid's 8.5 Mil and only send out 3.083 Mil. There would have to be other salary going back. Something like Danault (extended) + Armia (extended) + Edmundson + Struble + 2021 1st + 2 2021 2nds + 2021 3rd. Because we would be the only bidder we could add slightly less quality and slightly more quantity in the deal. I mean it would be a classic take it or leave it scenario for MB.
