Columbus declines Smith is out for the foreseeable future so it’s a 3rd line RW and a low 2nd for a starting goalie. So far this season it would be Merzlinkins who is traded as Korpisalo has been slightly better.

as for JP.....EDM fans still holding on. I don't know why. He's a bust. Playing in CBJ isn't going to change that. So I'm not sure why you'd put him on the 1st line. He don't belong there.

Jesse is 7th in the NHL for ixG and 17th for shots (at 5v5). He's not a bust, he's creating scoring chances at an elite rate.

dude he's on a line with McDavid. Lets not pretend the ixG has anything to do with him.
His real story is even on a line with McDavid and Nug he's played 11 games and has 1 assist in 5v5 play.......ouch.

He hasn't been on the 1st line the entire season, that's only recently. Prior to that he was on a line with Kyle Turris... at the time Jesse got moved to McDavid's line, he was creating as many shots on net as Connor himself: 13.18/60 for McDavid vs 13.14/60 for Puljujarvi. #1 and 2 on the team, top-20 in the NHL. Puljujarvi's ixG was 26th in the NHL at that point - and while playing with Turris who was having a horrible start. He was moved up for a reason.

and yet he has 0 goals.
