Donskoi's hot start aside, given the cap situation I'd guess that both Donskoi and Compher have negative values. Ottawa is allergic to paying money, in any case. I could see a Graves-for-Tierney swap.

They don't have negative value, that's silly.

Must admit I missed that part when I liked the comment, was more focused on the Graves-Tierney swap part. Yeah, to say their value may have been hit somewhat with the covid flat cap may be true but negative value is silly, they're certainly not cap dumps.
I disagree with DenisPotvin, but I understand why he has his opinion.
Compher is a pedestrian 3C, making good 3C money, but he's not overpaid enough to be considered a negative value.
Donskoi is a weak 2nd line winger, making solid 2nd line winger money, but he's also not overpaid enough to be considered a negative value
Neither have much trade value during this flat cap, but they are definitely not negative values. They are both worth much more to Colorado than they are to other teams in a trade.
Donskoi's 45% shooting percentage is probably not sustainable
