Description
These are my personal opinions for appropriate salaries. I welcome people to recreate their team with every player getting paid based only on their current skillset.

Note: I am a Canadiens fan so I am probably overvaluing a somewhat substantial amount.

As the description states I'd love to see some of these from other teams to give me a look at how fanbases value their players.

I think he still carries the team, without him our defense would look much worse.

KK is a very solid third line center and I think that Romanov is easily one of the Canadiens best defensemen, he falls just behind Petry for me.

I'm not a huge fan of his defensive game, he makes a lot of minor mistakes which build up in a big game.

Danault around 6M$ ???? Listen he's not getting over 5M$ next year from any NHL team. Just look at his offensive stats with a 30+ goals Gallagher and a team leading scorer in Tatar... He's barely hovering on 50 points.

He's getting around $6M next year not because of his offensive stats but because he's one of the best two-way centers in the league. I'm pretty sure he's already rejected $30M over 5 yrs from Montreal so him getting over $5M is pretty much guaranteed.

Basically I would say you're right he can still argue for +/- 500k except for Price, Romanov and Mete.

Price didn't steal any game since the beginning of the season, but he's still among the best so I would say around 7-7.5M for him.

Romanov: He played just a few games only so I would calm my expectations for him but he played really well I agree. The same could be said for Evans

Mete: Didn't played this season (season debut tonight) and besides is skating and a good first pass you don't notice him. Doesn't hit, block shot, wrist or slap shot below average. Those guys play for around 1M.

I think 3.5 is a little heavy right now. I'd say 2-2.5 for 2 years, but that's just me.

Romanov can be had for a cheaper bridge deal I would think.

If this were an actual contract I would most likely sign both of them to bridge deals as you proposed. I think that if I were to value these players without a salary cap these would be my contracts.

I'm a very big Mete fan and I doubt he'll cost any more than 1.5M but I love his play style. His skating is mesmerizing to watch he sees the game better than people give him credit for. I really enjoy watching Evans play as well and I think he will develop nicely into an energetic 3rd line center in the future. Romanov seems to be the real deal to me, and if he is I think this is a decently reasonable deal. He's just such a solid defenseman and I think would be capable of running a 4 Forward, 1 Defenseman PP1 as soon as the end of this season. I would value Price in the 7-9.5M range anything lower doesn't really show how good of a goalie he is.

I like him too as a player, but my general attitude towards him changed a bit if the rumour of him wanting out is actually true. I could see him developing into a Nate Schmidt-type of dman
