To be fair no one took him for free, so there's no realism in gaining a fair deal for Deangelo.

They're not getting a good deal. They'll have to settle for the least bad offer they get. If they get any, that is.

Well considering the team taking him in would voluntarily take in a locker room cancer, so the benefits for taking that contract should be immensely high.

Naturally it means the deal will most likely be terrible for NYR value-wise in a vacuum.

Thinking Neal for Deangelo -terrible

He clearly has had some issues...and every team has a right NOT to play him. My point was...if a team wants him, he shouldn't be denied the right to play.

yeah, the guy has a history of being a giant racist, homophobic headcase conspiracy nut , has been traded twice in the NHL already because he refuses to try and become a better person and is now about to be traded again (if some team will even take a risk on him) because he fought his goalie and got punched out.
