menos tony

Team: 2021-22 New York Rangers
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 1, 2021
Published: Feb. 2, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Let me know how off I am for Eichel. Gorton wouldn't give up Laf or Kakko, so the package would have to center around something else.

This year has shown that the Rangers need some veteran leadership. Getzlaf would be perfect, but you can replace him with any of the vet center options (Stastny, Krejci, or even Stepan). Danault might be the sexier choice though. Any of them can step into 2C if Chytil falters, but his early play shows that he won't.

And yes, I have read that Winnipeg might take Tony with salary retained. Other teams also interested.

If laf isn’t in the package then it’s not happening. A package built around kakko isnt eneough either.

I just checked georgiev’s stats. You pay Edmonton to take him future considerations going back.

Not a chance Im giving a 1st for Georgiev. If we are moving a 1st for a goalie, getting an established starter isn't unreasonable. A 1st should get you a legitimate starter, which Georgiev is not. Had a couple nice seasons as a backup, not worth the gamble of a 1st. I'd consider moving a 2nd for him if he starts to play a little better this season, but nothing more.

I keep seeing laf/kakko as the main part, and i feel like one of these things is not like the other

No from Dallas, extra cap hit for a player we don't need at all.

Jack is not going anywhere soon.
Your trade is actually a very good offer IMO.
Zibanejad for only two years will not get anyone's attention.
Give the Sabres four good young prospects and a pick from this draft (I know it is a weak one but Pettersson and Heiskanen drafted in 2017 from what was suppose to be a weak draft as well.
Eichel, Okposo and Hutton for:
Chytil, Filip
Kakko, Kaapo
Miller, K'Andre
Georgiev, Alexandar
2021 1st round pick (NYR)

This would get me interested.
It fills four holes GK, Center. RW and LHD.
All Sabre fans would nail me to a cross actually.
