Yamamoto ahead of Virtanen at 10 for sure! Gotta support the Yam!

Also RNH has got to be on that LW list, 6th spot I would think.

Also Bear ahead of Larsson and Barrie. Larsson I would say should probably not be on this list so far this year.

Also Koskinen is at least ahead of Matt Murray come on loool. Poor Koski, gets no love.

i was thinking that but Larrson is getting a lot of hate that IMO he shouldnt get. RNH is more of a center and should be their 3C. Yamo is good and honestly forgot about him while doing the list

Lindholm and Ehlers are too low on RW, Marner is the only RW better than those 2 imo.

Thanks for the Larsson love. He should be solid, has just had some difficulty in getting his legs and intensity up so far. Same with Barrie. But both are coming on better in these past two games so we'll see.

Also yeah Koski needs to be above Rittich and Murray at least here.

RNH can play center, but he hasn't for over a calendar year, so you should probably just stop thinking about him as a C.

Sure, but he also is playing his best offensive hockey of his career on LW so he is better there too...so, I would say that makes him a winger now. Doesn't matter what was happening 2 years ago.

And Draisaitl has been better then Matthews so far this season because he has 21 points and is +10

I agree completely. I really don’t understand why people put Matthews ahead of Draisaitl. Draisaitl doesn’t get to play with Marner at 5v5 and yet has put up better numbers 5v5. Then there’s the whole 21 points in 11 games and Heart/Ted Lindsay wins from last year. I’ve had discussions on here about it and they say “I want to see more from Draisaitl” and “at Matthews age Draisaitl wasn’t as good”. It just makes no sense.

Yup, that's what jumped out at me. Draisaitl is sooo underrated among casual fans.

This season:

LD: 11, 6-15-21
AM: 9, 6-4-10

Past 82 games:

LD: 82, 49-82-131 [1.60 P/GP]
AM: 79, 53-37-90 [1.14 P/GP]

For context, nobody in the world has had a 131 point season since Lemieux (161) and Jagr (149) did it in 1995-96 - twenty-five years ago.

Past 2+ years:

LD: 164, 99-137-236 [1.44 P/GP] +5
AM: 147, 90-73-163 [1.11 P/GP] +11

Leon provides 99% of the goal scoring and is a far better passer. His GF%rel is much better than Matthews' too, showing he has a greater impact on team performance than his Toronto counterpart.

Past 82 games:

LD: +15.96
AM: +12.90

Past 2+ years:

LD: +12.82
AM: +2.93

Nobody appreciated just how good Mark Messier was either until he wasn't in the shadow of Gretzky anymore. Lets hope it doesn't come to that - I'd like to see both Draisaitl and McDavid retire as career Oilers.

what I find funny is that the triggered leafs fans always use Draisaitl -/+ to justify why Matthews is better but so far this season he is top 5 in -/+ in the league

what find funny is that the triggered oilers fans have a meltdown when they see matthews above draisatl on an acgm list.

Yamamoto is a great, hard working player but he is heavily carried by Leon Draisaitl in his offensive output.
