Why would you pay Brady that much??? I'd expect him to be signed to like a 5.5/6m bridge deal, or at least thats what he's worth right now.

Ottawa will probably offer a bridge deal, but this is about if another team offer sheets him. If they offer sheet a 2 year deal at $5.5, then that’s an easy match and a complete waste of time by a team making an offer sheet.

That is completely fair value for Brady. I would give him 8x8 (I understand an offersheet cannot be 8)

That said, if an another team (let alone an expansion team) wants to give Ottawa four unprotected firsts for him I would pretend to be upset as I accept.
