Makes sense if Bear is back. But Bear is RH and Koekkoek is LH. I loved Bouch v Ottawa but wouldn't mind them letting him build up super confidence in at least one of the two Ottawa games right after the Cgy game. I guess the reality is, we can't play Bouch right now unless we waive a dman like Lagesson or Koekkoek (Russell cannot be moved to Taxi due to his NMC), or go 11 F. I don't mind 11 F in perhaps the first Ottawa game of this next back to back against them, but on a back to back it may be a lot to put on the fwds, and I am also torn about if itwould become confusing against a team like Cgy where matchups are more important than Ottawa. Then again, is 8 minutes of Lagesson less useful than 8 minutes of Devin Shore or even Kyle Turris? I think Lagesson PK, allowing Nurse some reprieve in his overall toi, is pretty useful...would be interested in perspectives.

Looking forward to the game, I think it is pretty obvious that Bennett won't be in the line up Saturday, you wonder if the Oilers try out muscle the Flames without that bottom 6 pop or the game turns into a track meet and it boils down to Markstrom vs Koskinen. I would take turris out and put Khaira in even for Calgary. That was a good line last year in the playoffs.

I wouldn’t put bear back in yet. Have seen enough battles of Alberta to know that’s not a time to bring someone back from injury.... also bouch just got into the line up and did well deserves to stay in for a couple games. I could see after flames game giving larsson a break for the sens games getting bear back in then.
