Bennet sucks, he wants out of Calgary because of his diminished role, and COL forwards are significantly better. Thrown in the fact his nonsense in the playoffs against the Avs, and when was the last time a 4th or 5th rd pick hit for the Avs and you have a one sided deal.

Haha DeAngelo is a no, just based on the avs having to many dmen, not even considering his attitude issues..

I'd take a run on bennett but as a 3 or 4th line player so he'd probably want out of colorado like he does calgary.. he brings some toughness that they could definately use in a playoff series

So the Avs learn nothing from the Brad May debacle and bring in a guy who was literally running around trying to hurt guys that are on the team now. Bennet literally sucks. He wants out of Calgary because he has been forced down to even the 4th line at times. I get the whole somebody else’s trash looks better than your own trash but Tyson Jost is a significantly better player than Bennett and cheaper.
