It's too much money though - Ovi simply isn't worth that anymore.

Trying to be somewhat realistic, like if this * were * to happen, he'd prob want more to come to a place like Edmonton lol. I know he's not worth the 2nd highest paid player in the league, but they'd prob have to overpay like that * if * a miracle were to happen

Honestly, if he wants to break Gretzky's record, going to Edmonton would be his best bet... he'd always have Connor or Leon feeding to him... but again, pipe dream

At the moment Korpi is ahead of Elvis in the "who's going to be the starting goaltender in the end" race, so I wouldn't count on him being traded. I don't know those prospects well enough to make a good call, but I will say that unless we're getting blue-chippers, it's not going to happen.

Thanks for the feedback, I think Columbus will trade one of their goalies as Kivleniks(sp) seems to be NHL ready. I was thinking Merzlikins was eligible for the expansion, but he's not. McLeod likely a 3rd line shutdown C, while Lagesson most likely a bottom pairing guy.
