This is a tough one. I am in agreement to move Mete, people value him way to highly on here. Yes he skates well but his shot is very weak for the NHL, he has a hard time leaning into people. He does not put up much offence. Great guy but I would move him. The question is what are you getting in return and where can the return fit into your line up? Can Honka, develop into a top 4 yes or no. If the answer is yes, then make the trade. If the answer is no, then get a draft pick for 2023, as we have tons of picks as it is. Plus we have Norlinder, Struble, Harris, Guhle all on their way.

This trade doesnt make any sense. The whole point of Mete wanting out is because he knows he wont play in the top 6. What chances do you think Honka has of playing in the 6. So we wouldnt be developing the player who is boom or bust anyway.

There is no valid trade for Mete. He has no choice but to suck it up. Hes a literally Montreals perfect scratch right now. Cheap and experienced with the team and system.
