Bennett's "cap dump" (lol) is easily made up by Lindholm's fantastic contract.

Lindholm is already as good as Nylander offensively. Then you factor in Lindholm's a better center than Nylander, as well as his strictly better defensive game

You know that the Leafs next GM would be the first to trade Nylander, and in one Sportsnet article from the offseason, a reporter claimed that GMs in the NHL don't see the value Nylander holds as opposed to what Dubas believes Nylander's value is lmao

Lindholm for Nylander might be trade both teams consider. Leafs would certainly welcome the 2m in cap space. Sure Flames fans would welcome their "Calgary boy" Adding Bennett though, takes value from the trade for the Leafs.
