I mean he’s scored at a 60 point pace for at least 3/4 of his seasons while Ljndholm has only done it for 3/8 seasons. Lindholm has never his 30 goals, nylander hit it as a 23 year old last season. When londholm was 23 he scored 16 goals and 44 points in a full season. There is an argument for both ways but Nylaander is 2 yrs younger and has higher potential imo

The whole mindset of “he’s better offensively”. Isn’t that what has lead to the leafs getting dunked in every playoffs? Teach Nylander where the defensive zone is and the trade becomes a conversation at most at that point.

Only you would decline a good deal for Toronto. Lindholm > Nylander. Flames easily decline

Nylander (career): 0.73 PPG
Lindholm (career): 0.62 PPG

Nylander: 1 career 30+ goal season
Lindholm: 0 career 30+ goal seasons

Nylander (career): 11.5% shooting percentage - 18.2% this season
Lindholm (career): 11.1% shooting percentage - 7.7% this season

Nylander (career): +13+/-
Lindholm (career): -47+/-
I know this isn't the best stat, but when it's that's significant of a difference it says something about their play style)

Nylander (career): 50.8% faceoff percentage - 50% this season
Lindholm (career): 52.4% faceoff percentage - 50.63% this season

Not to mention Nylander's analytics are much better than Lindholm's over the past 3 seasons.

I'm not saying Nylander is miles better than Lindholm, but he is better.

Yeah, if only Nylander was slightly worse offensively and slightly better defensively the leafs entire defensive core would have been so much better.
There are bad chirps and then there are ones that go so far off course you need a motorcycle and 100 boxes of sidewalk chalk to connect the joke to the punchline

Lol. Not the best stat, but when it's this big of a difference it says something:

Nylander is a career +13
Lindholm is a career -47

So I mean maybe you need to show Lindholm where the defensive zone is at before you consider teaching Nylander. At least he knows where to be

Hahaha that hurt you didn’t it Jared. I’m sorry that you need to spin off into irrelevancy to make yourself feel better about the Leafs defensive game!

The Leafs win in a landslide

EDIT: Flames win was a typo, meant to say the Leafs win. This is idiotic for Calgary

Guys!!! We found plus minus guy!!!! He’s always lurking in the trees to baffle people with the only stat he understands!! Good for you kiddo, you’re doing great

Lol, I directly said "I know it's not the best stat" but when there's a difference of Lindholm being on the ice for 60 more goals against, that says something about Lindholm's defensive play. But sure, try to make your point with a lame come back. You clearly missed my other post where I laid out multiple categories that Nylander is better and stated that his analytics have been far better than Lindholm's for 3 seasons.

But sure, miss all that because you're bias. Great job kiddo.

Bennett's "cap dump" (lol) is easily made up by Lindholm's fantastic contract.

Lindholm is already as good as Nylander offensively. Then you factor in Lindholm's a better center than Nylander, as well as his strictly better defensive game

Don’t waste your time on him. The BIGGEST homer on this site hands down. At different times he has argued Dermott over Hanifin and that Price played better than Andersen in the play ins. And he’s a snitch to boot.

If you wanna argue +/- in regards to a guy who had the same amount of Selke votes as Marner, who Leafs fans rave about defensively, that’s cool, you’re allowed to choose to be stupid.

Regurgitating kiddo also just shows that you read +/- and throw it out there like you know something.

Career stats are irrelevant. 2 years is the Max you can go in any argument. I’ll do 18-19 ere do to a 10 game sample size this year

Lindholm 18-19 prorated 82 games: 79 points and 27 goals
19-20 82 games: 77 points and 34 goals
20-21 pace: 90 points and 16 goals

Nylander 18-19 82 games: 41 points and 11 goals
19-20 82 games: 71 points and 37 goals
20-21 pace: 89 points and 30 goals

You brought +/- into a conversation and tried to use it against a guy in Selke talks. You really think the rest of what you’re saying is worth reading? You’re lying to yourself now.
