Wanna bet. With his concussion issues? Much rather protect Ritchie or Frederic than him.

It’s unlikely Stanley will play enough games to be eligible for exposure. I think he has to play like another 17 games. With poolman returning he’s likely the guy to get bumped out. It’s honestly likely Jets make a move to keep seattle off of berdin, I think seattle will end up selecting a guy like Niku with the Jets sending them a 3rd or 2nd and meh prospect to keep them off of Appleton, Stanley and berdin.

I doubt it. They have 2 spots for Smith, Ritchie, Frederic, Kase, Bjork and pudding brain would be 4th on that list right now.

Bean will be protected. They will go 8-1 if Hamilton extends beforehand.

Highly doubt it. No way they don’t protect Trocheck. Trocheck would easily be Seattle’s best center option.

Unlikely he extends beforehand and they protect Bean and Vince. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t think you’ll see to many extensions this year before the expansion draft. At least not signed and announced 😉. Teams can work the system.

Kase is more than likely to be the #6 protected guy; Bjork should be 2nd on that list but considering the way Cassidy uses him, it's probably better for him to go somewhere else.

Bjork has done nothing to warrant being protected.

It will likely come down to Smith or Kase. Kase will have to come back and be productive and healthy. Not sold on the idea he can do either much less both.

COL has EJ waive to protect Toews if he doesn’t they will buy him out, because there is no way Sakic trades for Toews and gives him a 4yr deal to lose him in XD

Detroit isn't going to lose Rasmussen. I think it will be Stecher. Detroit will be selling at the TDL so they can pick up a forward to leave unprotected.

Not how draft eligibility works with Stanley.

Three goalies will be Allen, Vanecek and Berdin....

Okay good to know I just wasn’t sure, I agree they likely go after berdin. I’d hope the Jets would make a trade to keep them off of him.

ayo bruh i was just making lines on one of my random kraken drafts this wasn't meant to be that serious but i enjoy the debating nonetheless and it'll be interesting to see what routes seattle goes with. i also didn't consider in anybody waiving their NMC's i just left them how it is (for example erik johnson leaving devon toews exposed)
