It 2021 and IMO that's way to much money and term for RNH.
Don't think Makar signs that offer sheet, but goes to Avs and uses it as bargaining chip and gets the best deal from the Avs...though his $$$ would still be less.
But there is a reason so few offer sheets are made. Would the Sens be better to spend 11m on a UFA(s) and keep their picks?

there is 0% chance that makar signs an offersheet and a less than 0% chance that the poorest and cheapest owner in the league spends money in order to do so

RNH is a great complimentary 2nd tier star. He's not a top line C, and he's not an 8mil player, at least not to Ottawa.

Top line centres make 10M+ on the UFA market. Matt Duchene, who's pretty comparable to RNH, got 8M.

Players like Makar are worth it. Especially at 22 years old and still improving.

Makar wont sign an offer sheet, Colorado would match anyways. And Ryan Nugent-Hopkins gets slightly less probably in the neighborhood of 7 x $7,500,000.
