This makes zero sense from B’s end. Even if pudding brain Kase is out for the season, trading a roster player for Virtanen makes zero sense.

Debrusk plus for Boesser would make sense. A lateral downgrade does not.

Debrusk & Zboril to Blues for Dunn, Sanford, 3rd piece would make sense. Sort of.

A team in contention is not trading a main roster piece without getting better. This does not do that.

Bjork for Virtanen makes more sense.

Jimmy Murphy sucks. Don't waste your time with him.

Murphy gets a lot wrong, but just in plain view. This deal doesn't make the bruins better. Its a lateral move, some would argue it makes them worse. I can see a world where they think Kase wont be able to get over his concussions and they bring in Virtanen to play the right side, but i would assume it would be a pick/prospect type deal. Not a player for player.

VAN would need to add.

I'd love to see a ratio of Trade Rumors-to-Media Mentions for every NHL player.

Debrusk would have to be high on that list.
