It’s unlikely that they get Byron or Paul. Pearson or Virtanen would be my guess, habs would want to move Byron, but likely won’t want to retain almost 50%. Paul has been good for Ottawa and unless they want to part with him, he’s likely out, and he’d honestly cost a decent amount too, kids been great. I think VAN is most likely going to sell hard at the TDL. Tank for Hughes. Virtanen would be awesome on Toronto.

I don't think Vancouver is in a position to be able to retain salary.

Hard to say what the cost will be but agreed it will be with a Canadian team.

Cant see Byron as Montreal and Toronto will be battling one another to take 1st in the North
Pearson could be a target but he has mentioned he wants to stay a Canuck
Paul is the most realistic one but with the way hes playing and at that contract I just dont see Ottawa moving him
