To me, the top 9 is pretty set in stone, and that first-year dance card has only a fox-trot and a polka, so it's hard to see how much of anything is going to happen in their first year.

Having gone through Burkie times in Anaheim, the best thing he ever did for us was jump ship for Toronto, and then send back a bunch of picks.

Agreed. Hextall will do exactly what he did in Philly, which is to see a hole in the lineup, assess the hole, re-assess the hole, then re-evaluate where the hole in the lineup is...

Then old Burk-ster will pop in, pull the Pres of Hockey Ops card on him, and find some good, old meat 'n' potato players.
