What would you assess a fair return from NYR as for Ekholm?

Granlund should get a better return than Haula -- with retention, I could see Granlund returning a 1st even. EDM, PIT, CGY are a few team that I think would be very interested in him.

1st, Kratsov or Miller, and a 2nd

I doubt WPG trades Heinola, but yeah, I'd do that deal.

And NSH would quickly reject that. Ellis would require something like Konecny or some prospects like Brink, Frost, etc. plus picks

Yeah that's what i meant, there's no way Granlund is worth the same as Jarnkork and less than Haula

If Poile is gone, Hynes will follow -- I don't know if ownership will give Poile the opportunity to find another head coach. I get the feeling that after this season (or next at the most) Poile will leave NSH.

Miller is untouchable but the Krav deal could work. Doubt NYR want to trade him though.

Miller is untouchable. Kravs could be possible If we keep Buch. I'd really like to see our D look like(Ek with a fellow Swed)

Miller Trouba
Lindgren Fox
Ekholm Lundkvist

There’s no way this core should be as bad as it is

What about Lindgren?

If NSH can grab an offensive player with upside in Kravstov+ then they should probably take that deal.

Completely agree -- but they cannot stop a beach ball on the PK right now. They seem to be fine 5v5 but then completely fall apart on the PK, and that is what is killing the team right now. That's on the coaching and goaltending for the most part because there are good PKers on this team that have been good PKers in the past. The new system just doesn't seem to be working at all for this team.

Lindgren isn't untouchable but he is just so good at shut down and he will never make big $$ so it's easy to say no to moving him.. Like lemieux, heart and soul type of guy for us

That's my argument as to why it isn't Poiles fault we suck. The players just can't seem to play anymore

If you're willing to take Lindgren and not Krav, in addition to a 2nd or even a 1st, I'd make that deal any day

I think NSH would be asking for a 1st in either deal -- may be more flexible if Kravstov were involved, but I could see them really wanting to just stockpile some 1sts over the next couple of drafts if they end up selling.
