What would be your best offer for him? Just out of curiosity, lol

1st + Kase (skated today) or Bjork or Lauzon or Zboril or Grzelcyk

Ekholm has another year left on his deal so I don't know what the ask would be for him. I think Ekholm is better than Muzzin so I figured a similar return or better.

What would you want for Ekholm?

Granlund should get a better return than Haula -- with retention, I could see Granlund returning a 1st even. EDM, PIT, CGY are a few team that I think would be very interested in him.

I don't think the Oilers would be. They don't have their 2nd and 3rd this year. So I can't see them moving it for a rental. They're better off trading their 1st as part of a deal in the summer for a player under contract or to move a contract like Neal.

Agreed. Doesn't Granny play RW? Pretty sure Puljujarvi and Yamamoto basically have the top-6 RW spots nailed down. If Granny was the final piece to becoming a Cup Contender then sure, but I just don't see it.

He works EXTREMELY hard, like Duchene and Haula. That's why they're worth more

If Blake Coleman and Barclay Goodrow are worth 1sts to Tampa, then Granlund with half retention is worth a 1st

Granlund has 7 points in 10 games...Tanev has 4 in 11???

Granlund has 13 blocked shots, Tanev has 9

Granlund is a -1, Tanev is a -2

It's a small sample for both players, and Tanev has one less game played on a team with wayyy better offense

I'm just saying you've got to look at more than the past 12-15 games to determine a players value. Any player. JVR has 7 goals and 18 points in 13 games this year, that doesn't make him a superstar all the sudden.
