Actually, I'm a Canes fan. My original offer was somewhat of an overpay, but there is a caveat that Seattle possibly takes Bean or Foegele in the Expansion Draft if they stick around, barring a trade with sweeteners. Trading the two and acquiring/signing Granlund consolidates the expansion protection list for Carolina. IMO, it's a mutually beneficial trade:
