Tolvanen probably wants out after last night, and I don't blame him. NSH shouldn't trade him, but if you're going to send him back to the taxi squad after he's played well because the guys you replaced him with "gave you a better chance to be competitive." He was replaced by 2 guys who haven't been in the NHL since 2018. Can I trade you Hynes instead?

I didn't realize that was a thing, but I don't think it applies for NSH in this situation. I could be wrong though. Tolvanen is on the final year of an ELC, while the replacements are on league minimum contracts. Two of those cost more than Tolvanen. There's plenty of cap space too.

Yeah debrusk is super streaky and a bit frustrating but if they move him I see it to trade up for a player to help them now not this kinda deal.
