I'm not sure if that's enough for Barkov but I am fairly sure they wouldn't be able to afford to re-sign him. Also, Landy is getting a bit more than $6.2M;no way Makar signs for 8 at $7.5M (if he signed at that price point, it would be a bridge for a few years),;Calvert is too much of an injury liability and Loco makes him redundant (not that I don't love Calvy); no real reason to bring PEB back at his age and with younger guys needing in the lineup.

His cap hit isn't great, but a 15g RHS FWD is something MN really doesn't have. They might not take they deal, but I think they would consider it.
