yeah I think you're over-valuing Suzuki a bit but I think the second might be a bit much

Man detroit is taking that deal and running. Try swapping the second for a third for more fair value.

Eye injury or not, Suzuki isn’t overvalued. He isn’t a throw in for a trade.

Detroit would take that and run, But unfortunately if we deal Greiss then we've no Goaltender under contract Bernier will be the one we move not Greiss.

they can resign him. the pick and prospect make it more likely that they'd do the trade

AHL backups have zero value. Greiss definitely doesn't have zero value

35 year old goalies with an under .910 save percentage have zero value. Especially not a 2nd, a goalie, and the 2nd best prospect in the 5th ranked prospect pool in the nhl.

laugh laugh Zero value, Greiss would easily return a late 2nd or 3rd round pick. He's a very solid capable Goalie. You saying that he has zero value just show's you don't know much about players values.

the man is a solid starter when playing on a good team. He's playing on Detroit. any goalie on a team that bad will look way worse. Ryan Suzuki isn't some amazing top tier prospect, he's alright. goalies typically take longer to develop then have very good longevity so him being 35 doesn't really matter. so no he does not have zero value

That's an overpay for Greiss, but as others said, if Detroit moves a goalie at the TDL this year it will be Bernier, not Greiss.

Haha just okay, LOLZ. 35 year old goalies that aren’t a freak (which greiss isnt) dont have value. Goalies start to fall off a cliff statistically at 35.

Greiss has zero guarantee that he will look better elsewhere. He had just as many meh or bad years as good ones on the Islanders.

I know in the trade I said it was overpaying but that goaltending tandem would be very good also it would incentivize them to take the trade

ok, so you obviously are a stat nerd and don't actually know anything about goalies values so ill just tell you this. good goalies on a bad team look bad for the team he's on he's doing alright. going to potentially the best defense in the league will make his stats look better
