Kings might go for a trade like that in the off-season, but as of right now, they would just lose Schmidt to Seattle since they don't have a protection slot for him.

Ottawa declines. You didn't include near enough sweetener. Jett Woo is still young but he has not developed the way we'd all hoped. I'm aware that the actual $$ on Beagle and Eriksson is much less than the cap hit but, it's still FOUR contracts while only sending one (which is not the only problem with it). As-is, I don't see any team agreeing to this.
