Description
I like Bjork for the Avs, and it was suggested this might be all that's needed.

I like Compher okay too but I think Jost is going to continue proving he's the more valuable guy. Moving JT for an expiring contract and a young goalie would seem to make at least some sense... Or, perhaps even better, maybe keep Compher this year and then move either him or Donskoi to Columbus after the season for Tarasov and a fourth or something. The cap space gained would potentially allow the team to keep Saad.

IDK, just trying it out. Let me know if you think this is decent, horrible, etc.

Riley Nash is a really underrated player, who would be a nice under-the-radar addition. Nash has around 70% DZ start% and still manages to hover at just under 50% Corsi which is pretty strong given the heavy defensive zone starts.

I don't know much about the goalie, but moving Compher and getting a cheaper and useful roster player back like Nash would be decent I think. Probably more realistic than Jenner too.

As for Bjork I'm kinda indifferent on him, and the Avs don't have too many draft picks (especially if you're also moving a 5th in the CBJ trade). But in theory this seems reasonable value wise I guess.

Not sure about their relationship with Nash, but Compher has term which I think could appeal to Columbus (though I could be wrong).

From what little I know, Tarasov is a pretty good prospect. With their depth, maybe he's expendable though. Might turn into nothing but who knows. It's a good add while also moving out dollars.

Bjork I am admittedly much higher on than most. He looked fantastic in college and seems to have really solidified his game. I think he could be a good middle six guy for Colorado. His contract is about right for the current time too.

I like the idea of Riley Nash a whole lot more than Bennett. Bjork is very meh to me, just play Kaut.

Agree on Nash over Bennett. I think Bjork is their Jost. High floor and pretty high ceiling. I'm totally into getting him at the moment.

Tarasov isn't a throw-in; we've really liked how he's developing. I suppose Nash for Compher could be used for something; I guess I just don't see the point.
