Contending teams don’t trade main roster pieces for a lateral move. The idea is to add to the existing roster. Swapping Debrusk for Zucker accomplishes nothing.

The impediments are the NMC and the salary, which less of factor for NJD. He doesn't fit into our window with Hughes, Hischier, Bratt, etc...but if we ate a bunch of salary, I'm sure we could flip him for someone that does fit that window.
