Description

Curious what the market would be for Saros right now. If Rinne decides he wants to play another year after this one, NSH could protect Ingram in expansion, re-sign Kaskisuo (or another eligible goalie) to expose to SEA, then use that guy in the AHL next season. The Preds then re-sign Rinne to a 1yr deal after the ED. NSH could take back an impending UFA goalie back (ie Mike Smith) in return for Saros. So who wants Little Bear, and what are your offers?

Which Pens prospect did you have in mind? I know your pool is kinda shallow right now. Were you thinking someone like Poulin, or more like Légaré?

hi mate, no, wasn't thinking specifically about PIT, they're not a suitable partner for Saros in my opinion - this was meant generally for any team

he's got 8 games this season with a 88.1 save % and you think he has value.
Hell goalies in general don't have value.
You might be a 4th or 5th round pick.

Such bad stats isn't his fault. He has 92,9 save % at even strength. Thanks Preds PK (worst PK in the league) for this total 88,1%

And ofc trade Saros right now - isn't good idea, due to his "bad" stats. But he isn't bad goalie.

yes but goalies don't hold value.
Especially one's that have been career backups.
