I'm very excited about this. This team just got way faster overall, and they have a guy you know can shoot the puck.

I'm okay with this. What doe the canes get out of it? Depth?

What does Ottawa get out of this? Familiarity?

Okay, now get Stone back.

I’d love to see a line of Dzingel-White-Batherson and then get Stutzle at centre.

I like this move for the Sens. Buy low on Dzingel with a couple of pieces that shouldn't be as valuable, pump up his value and then ship him off at the deadline again.

Really don't see the incentive for CAR though, they're not really shedding any money and Paquette and Galch really don't add much imo. But I'm sure Carolina will turn them into analytical darlings for no reason and we'll look back and say they won the trade whatever

Poor Galchenyuk

Galchenyuk could pop off in Carolina. He's played well, but not a fit for what DJ wants. I came into the season really low on Galchenyuk, but I was actually impressed with what I saw.

Canes get themselves a depth center and a question mark. Think it's a decent haul.

Dzingel wasn't that important for them anyway.

If they don't like Dzingel, they could view either player as a replacement for his spot in the lineup. Or at worst, it's easier on the cap to bury Paquette and Galchenyuk than to bury Dzingel

Zinger was buried on a 4th line in a checking role. Gain enough cap space to actually have an extra roster player and CP who is a legitimate fit on a 4th line.

I like it, and I don’t have an issue with Dzingel just slotting right on to the 4th line, and stopping the carousel.

I first saw it in a Garrioch tweet, and my first thought was that he was trolling Sens fans, lol

Sens are probably hoping Dzingel plays well, and can be flipped at TDL. Feel a bit sorry for Dzingel going from a good Carolina team to Sens. But if he can post some good offensive numbers should help in his UFA contract coming up.
