Description
I think teams have learned from the Vegas draft and let a lot of players they want to sign get to UFA status at the end of the year. The Kraken won't be as good as the Golden Knights. But who did I get wrong from your team?

Players in the minors are on LTIR because I don't have a minors option on a created team.

The Shea-Theodore-instead-of-Josh-Manson fiasco has probably cured our front office of making any side deals, but someone on our side has suggested that we give Seattle our 2021 third to let us protect 8 forwards and all four LDs and then they have their choice of Josh Manson OR Kevin Shattenkirk.

have a Holtby-Allen tandem. Holtby has been doing decent enough IMO

Could, but I still believe in Vanecek. Holtby's a UFA after 1 year, Allen after 2, and Vanecek becomes a 26yo RFA.

Something like that might work. A 3rd might not do it, but a 2nd... or a young player. Seattle will be lacking people in that 20, 21 year old range who are going to make the team in a few years. Josh Mahura, Benoit-Olivier Groulx, or Maxim Golod come to mind.

you can protect 7 forwards. Verhaeghe is out of his mind rn and the team is rolling I can't see them not figuring out a way to extend and protect him. No way he's 8th best forward for them
