MTL doesn't need Ekholm. If Klefbom doesn't come back EDM would be an amazing fit tho

We are giving up our best player this season. We don't want to trade him right now

I think Forsberg is the last player on this team that will be traded, but it's not out of the question -- basically everyone should be on the block. I like Frost + Patrick, but Patrick is still a question mark and Frost isn't good enough to grab Forsberg; I'd want more for him.

I think that could be what Ekholm goes for, but he may also be able to grab a prospect in a deal.

Jarnkrok maybe able to grab that at the deadline -- I'd be willing to retain 50% if they could somehow snag a 1st for him.

I don't think Cousins will get a 2nd and don't think he will be dealt anyway -- need bodies for the expansion draft. But if they can get a 2nd for him, then they should definitely take it.

Was thinking the same thing. Toronto wouldn’t pay that much for cousins. Jarnkrok might be a better fit. The Philly Calgary trade is interesting. Johnny has been really good this year. Flames best player. Not sure they would move him.

If Seattle picks Chiarot I wouldn’t be opposed to this.

Considering there’s a good chance klefbom doesn’t come back I like this idea ekholm would be a good fit on Edmonton
