No hate against Iafallo at all, but imo, he's not the type of player the Leafs should be looking at to play on that line. Don't know if the Kings would accept that, regardless.

I risk the wrath of ZiggyPalffy, but you can probably have MacDermid for a couple spare puck bags and a firm handshake. He's a good "stick-up-for-your-teammates" type guy, but he's not very good at defense.

He got a lot quicker, but still not enough to play on a faster team like Toronto.

Aside from the 1st, it's just scraps. Iafallo is worth more than a 1st and scraps.

IF we absolutely HAD to move Iafallo, that would be the kind of return we'd want. But it remains to be seen what the respective parties' intentions are with regard to his extension.

Iaffalo wouldnt cost that much. A roster salary, a mid level prospect and a 2nd or 3rd rd pick would be enough

Kings supporters and others on here are just glad its not the greatest Dman of all time, Matt Roy, that people are speculating about! Theres not enough blue chip prospects and 1st rd picks to pry Roy out of their delusional hearts.

Iafallo isn't going anywhere for anything less than a 1st. Would cost extra for retained salary.

I honestly don't expect Iafallo to go anywhere at all. He'll be re-signed prior to the trade deadline.

If LA trades Iafallo to Toronto, they should be looking for Sandin to improve their weak LD.

Hate to break it to you but a guy with a .45 ppg career average and a soft game isnt going to fetch a 1st round pick. At best a 2nd rd pick and another pick in retaining salary. Iaffalo is a dime a dozen 3rd liner

Yep.. a 3rd liner on a bad team is definately worth another teams top D prospect...

Iafallo plays top-line, top PP, and PK. Perhaps you should learn something, anything, like anything at all, about players on other teams. Iafallo has 36 points in his last 40 games, has always been strong defensively, is trusted in all situations, and is the kind of player that every coach wants to clone.

Leafs' are supposedly in win mode. They are looking for somone to play top-6, not more depth. Getting the right pieces is going to cost them, and the cost is really not that high as they will ruin Sandin if they keep him anyway.

Yea you've clearly never seen Iafallo play if you think he's "soft" or "a dime a dozen." LA will be happy to keep him if no one is willing to meet their price.
