Granted, Nylander has not been playing where he should. He knows it, management knows it, but this isnt the way to spark him. Maybe give him some PP time, or something like that, but fourth line is probably a confidence deflater, big time.

However, im human and could be wrong!

Keefe does not have the guts to bench William Nylander as he wants Willy Wee to practice his figure skating and ballet jump

I agree he doesnt work as hard as he should, but he still has good opportunites to score every game

You don't get opportunities for plays like these:

Agreed. He is lazy, but the man has talent. He NEEDS someone to push him to the brink, to the limit, force him to work harder, and I dont know if benching him is the right way to do that. It could be, but based on examples from around the league, benching often turns a player sour instead of pushing them to the desired result.

You are being paid $6.8 million and you need someone to boost your motivation?

Money is money to this guy. hes going to get paid whether or not he plays well.

Which, personally, i think is stupid that players dont even need to try in order to be paid.

lmao you're describing the Leafs system, and if Nylander was on the Bruins, he would not be getting more than Alex Kerfoot

Matthews, Marner, and Tavares (when hes not with nylander) are worth their money hands down.

The more i look at it, the more I wonder if Nylander is our big issue here...

Perhaps give him a few more games and then trade him if he shows abyssmal effort. Too bad dubas doesn have the guts to deal him so we're stuck with him.

The flip side, is if we get early season nylander hes worth every penny, somehow we HAVE to get him back to that.

Dubas will trade Marner before Nylander as Dubas does not want to break his pinky promise with Nylander lmao

Ahhhh but i dont hate on nylander, I think he is a very good player with amazing potential, he just has to want to be good.

If he wants it, works for it, he could be something really special. But if he doesnt try, or work hard, he will be a bump on a log.

All Nylander needs to do to be very, very good, is work hard. Hard work = Success

Nah, i only call oilers fans that. And you're a troll because you make 4 posts a day trying to kick up a fuss about Nylander or praise Josh Anderson like he's scored 100 cup winning goals, not because you dont like Nylander
