Description

No trade is ever going to be agreed upon in terms of what Crosby is worth. But for Colorado they obviously get this generations best player in Crosby to play with the other star from his hometown of Cole Harbour NS.

Pittsburgh gets a top pairing Dman in Gerard on a very reasonable contract, a top Centre Prospect in Newhook who was great at Boston College last year, and Tyson Jost a former 1st round pick who could use a change of scenery. Add in a 1st, 2nd and 3rd pick. I think while alot for Colorado to give up, it signifies the ALL IN move to win a cup. While Pittsburgh gets a premier D, a future #1C and hopefully guy who could be the #2 C but would be slotted as a #3 as of now along with picks to rebuild the cupboard that is essentially empty in Pittsburgh right now.

Its not a serious trade, just trying to make money work on that in return for an ELC

Crosby trades to the Avs are just not goign to happen, why would a cup contenting team destroy their roster to try to force a Crosby trade in. They cant do it as good as Crosby still is, this hurts the Avs long term especially with a flat cap, taking on 8.7m is just not feasible without creating huge holes in your roster

Crosby playing with Mackinnnon is the new Drouin reuniting with Mackinnon, lets just use our brains here for a second
