thats not what he said, he said Granlund is a winger he Thinks....key word, he thinks, they would consider, since they had interest in him during the summer as He was a Free Agent but had no way had the cap space for him. Just like how probably half a dozen teams or more had interest in him as a Free Agent this summer

I could see TOR being interested in him as a UFA signing last offseason but they didn't have the cap.

Trade for Granlund during the off-season? He was a UFA and didn't resign with NSH until the season basically started.

I'd consider this trade though. I might prefer to just get a 1st rounder from a team for Granlund retained, but NSH is pretty weak on RHD depth so Liljegren could be a nice addition.

Grandlund trade maybe. But again the silliness of trying to make Bennett a competent 3C. He isn't that at all.

First off, the Leafs won't be able to afford Kerfoot AND Granlund without salary retention, and if you knew more about Bennett, he is playing a top 6 role and scored two goals in 5 games

If you know more about Bennett the Flames are weak at centre took Lindholm from the wing to centre cause Bennett couldn't crack their top three centres.

Well if that was the entire deal, I would agree with you. Check the facts and time of the trade and you might realize why the Leafs made the deal. You still might not like it, but it certainly wasn't Kerfoot for Kadri.

Bennett hasn't been a Centre for a few seasons now, anyone who is putting him at 3C haven't been paying any attention to him or his usage. Hes a bottom 6 winger, thats his role
