Don't see the point, he's more valuable for this seasons playoff as a #3/4 dman than a random draft pick from Buffalo.

haha I'm guessing you were watching tonight's game and were impressed by Reider... I was impressed too and went on here to look up Rieder's info. I don't think we're going to get a promising 23 year old from ARI for that.

Also what's the deal with all of these Bogosian trades I'm seeing? Is he actually worth his contract? Pens are in a pseudo-Chicago state where we are committed to a lot of cap money long term. Management has to be really careful taking on another big contract.

Sabres badly need defense and currently have the 6th best goalie tandem in the league. That trade makes no sense. Sabres do not want or need MAF...

I am thinking more long term. If you leave reider which the pens should then they have a log jam at defenceman. It comes down to cole, schultz, maatta, or daley (Highly doubt pens move Tanger or dumo) cole and schultz pens definetly should keep considering they have played like an elite 2nd pairing. Maatta could possibly fetch more but he also has some high upside. So odd man out is daley. Obviously it doesnt need to be a draft pick, but needs to be something or someone that vegas cant touch.
