That top 9 is scary.... if Heinola and samberg gel in the AHL I can 100% see that pairing happen in the NHL. I wish Chevy could undo the demelo signing. It’s not awful, but it could be a lot better.

Heinola and Samberg looked excellent on the same pairing yesterday, I think that could legit be our future top pair. DeMelo struggled early but is starting to get his game back recently, and he played a bunch with Beaulieu who has been an absolute tire fire this year (don’t know how he still has a roster spot right now) hate to say it, but I think I regret the Jmo contract the most right now. He has been horrible since the start of the 19-20 season.

To be fair to JoMo, he hasn't played well with anyone other than the little stretch last year with Demelo and the on and off mins with Pionk. When he doesn't have to worry about his partner, he plays well...

As Stanley has shown that he could be part of the Jets future, I would protect him over DeMelo. Replacing DeMelo would be fairly easy IMO.

McCabe at $3.3 mil and Perreault at $2.25 mil is just too much. As a replacement for Perreault I would sign either Stastny or Lowry (to be honest I would like to sign both Stastny and Lowry). Will have to pay them between $3 and $3.5 mil each. As for a 3rd pairing dman, I would like to see Forbort come back for $2 mil.

I wish I could watch the ahl games, just don’t feel like forking out the $50 for AHLTV just to watch some moose games

Protect Stanley, expose DeMelo. They are taking Harkins or Berdin anyways.
