Definitely hate the Devils more. As for Zibanejad, he had COVID which prevented him from getting ready for the season and has had lasting affects on his ability to play into the season. I don't expect him to return to form in this shortened season but have no doubt he will be back to normal next season.

Depends on when the Rangers fan was born for the most part, imo.

Gen X and older-: Islanders (Corresponds with Islanders dynasty of 80's and Devs not existing yet)
Millennial: (Corresponds with Devils dominance in 90's and early 00's)
Gen Z: Either or. Devils were solid in mid 00's and early 10's, Isles sucked, then they switched around. I'm a 00, so I grew up hating the Devils more, but when the Islanders became more relevant (and Devils irrelevant), more hatred towards the Islanders. Just in my experience.

For me it’s the Islanders. As for Mika Zibanejad, he made 19% of the shots he took last season. Idk what it is after tonight but I can tell you his shooting percentage was 2.6% entering the game.

They were the only line that was getting pressure today. In the first meeting between them, Kaako and Laf were invisible but they are slowly getting better. They still need to put some points on the board

Heavy load on our "slim" vet list, considering most are followers, not leaders.

For me it's not even really about the players specifically. It's more because I'm from NJ and went to high school there when the Devils beat the Rangers in the ECF in 2012. The fallout from that was brutal lmao.

But if I had to pick Devils players I hate/have hated, it definitely started with Brodeur of course. I absolutely despised Kovalchuk in the 2012 era. And now, I don't really hate any of them (yet) except Jack Hughes. Something about him rubs me the wrong way when they play the Rangers lol.
