If there really were some insane backwards reality where Pittsburgh decided to move Crosby (especially to the Caps), there's no way the trade doesn't start with McMichael Vrana +

Ur totally right, I edited the trade I was trying to decide whether or not to add McMichael and tbh it would make sense for pitt to go after vrana instead of orlov

Crosby and Ovechkin would be awesome. Not just from a hockey perspective, but just really cool to see two old rivals play together.

Vrana and Crosby have 8 even strength points so far this season, each. Vrana is 9 years younger, and half the cap hit. I'm curious what this trade looked like when it was focused around Orlov, but not that curious, because it's way off, right now.

Let's say the Pens WANTED to trade Sid... Even after the modifications, I'm not sure this is enough from WASHINGTON... maybe from someone out west, but not in the conference...
